Review of Emacs+SLIME powered by the Slant community.
I spent some time a few weeks ago looking at the Lisp IDEs. Unfortunately, the only one available to hobbyists like me (or people evaluating it) that seems both (1) non-crippled and (2) maintained is Emacs/SLIME and the vim variant of that SLIME (slimv?).
Probably the most runner-up-y one is CUSP, but that's been hideously unmaintained in the past few years. Really wish it'd be worked on more, but that'd require both Java and Eclipse. blech!
