Pros
Pro Offline single player gameplay is great for players that don't always have an available internet connection
For players without internet or those just wanting to play without the interference of others, Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is a single player only game. Galaxy on Fire uses a few different types of game play, story-driven, mission-based and sandbox modes allow you the player to be in control of how you play the game.
Pro Nice graphics and music
The graphics and music are very well done. The music is slightly dynamic in that there are different scores that play depending on what's going on in the game. The graphics for this were good even before the update and are even better since it was updated. Many have said they are nearly 'console quality' and they are right. The graphics are actually better than a lot of console games out there and even better than a few PC ones.
Pro Engaging storyline
A really well done storyline with great depth and various conversation options, even though it is a bit linear.
Pro Updated HD Graphics over first title allows the game to shine on modern HD devices
All of the graphical textures and effects have been updated and reworked from the original game Galaxy on Fire. Including highly detailed 3D models and stunning specialFX, Galaxy on Fire 2 HD graphics are optimized for Android devices and provide beautiful visuals.
High-quality visuals including detailed 3D models, hi-res textures and breath-taking Special FX
Cons
Con Includes in-app purchases
Galaxy on Fire 2 HD has included in-app purchases that range from $0.99 - $51.82 per item. However, for the base game, which is free, you don't actually have to make any purchases at all. Same for any of the expansions you choose to purchase, which aren't that expensive at all. They add entirely new stories to the game and all of them are under $7 each. There is a combo of Valkyrie & Supernova which is about $9 but it's two expansions not just 1. Any other in-game purchases are completely optional. You don't need them to enjoy the game.

Con Nasty pay/grind wall chokepoint
Somewhere along the way, you'll be required to upgrade your warp drive to continue. The cost of said item is prohibitively set so as to require the player to either grind out on asteroid mining for who knows how long, or buy currency.
