Con Hasn't received a map update since early 2015
Maps are patchy and missing a lot of detail (that is available on other apps). The support forum doesn't reply to complaints about this.
Con No offline address data
It is not possible to locate an address if the device is unable to receive external data. This really limits the use of this app as an offline navigator as there is no way to access an address when offline.
Con Slow development
TomTom are nortoriously slow on the development of the app, seemingly not interested in staying ahead of it's competition. As a result, there has been very little in the way of improvements with the exception of map updates.
