1More Dual Driver ANC Pro vs JLab JBuds Air Icon

The 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro is a great Earphone for its $149 asking price.

The JLab JBuds Air Icon, however, while a reasonable product for $50, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Earphones in the $30 range, you might want to check out some better options.

The 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro got praised by Wirecutter (NYTimes) and SoundGuys - two highly trusted sources that perform in-depth hands-on testing. It was awarded the "Top Pick" title from Wirecutter (NYTimes) and "Best ANC earphones" from SoundGuys in their respective Earphone roundups.

Returning to the JLab JBuds Air Icon, TechGearLab, a source that's known for its high-quality in-depth testing, has great things to say about it. In fact, it was named its "Long Distance Bluetooth Connection" in its "Best Waterproof Earbuds of 2020" roundup, which is quite a feat.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Earphones, including SoundGuys, preferred the 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro over the JLab JBuds Air Icon.

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro was liked best by Head-fi, which gave it a score of 10, while the JLab JBuds Air Icon got its highest, 7.6, score from SoundGuys.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the 1More Dual Driver ANC Pro, with its 8.0 average, performed considerably better than most Earphones - the mean score for the product category being 7.3 out of 10 - while the JLab JBuds Air Icon managed an average of 7.3.
