The LG 27GN850-B 27" is a great Monitor for its $449 asking price.
The Acer ConceptD CP7271K 27", however, while a reasonable product for $2478, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Monitors in the $2,300 range, you might want to check out some better options.
The reviewers at Rtings have featured the LG 27GN850-B 27" in their LG 27GN850-B Monitor Review roundup. However, it fell short of making it to the top of their list.
Returning to the Acer ConceptD CP7271K 27", Tom's Hardware, a source that's known for its high-quality in-depth testing, has great things to say about it. In fact, it was named its "Best 4K Gaming Monitor for Professionals" in its "Best 4K Gaming Monitors for PC 2021: 144Hz, Curved and More" roundup, which is quite a feat.
We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Monitors, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.
We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the LG 27GN850-B 27" got its highest, 7.9, rating from Rtings, while the Acer ConceptD CP7271K 27" earned its best, 9, score from Tom's Hardware.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Monitors on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Monitors being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the LG 27GN850-B 27" and Acer ConceptD CP7271K 27" managed averages of 7.9 and 8.4 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct LG 27GN850-B 27" vs. Acer ConceptD CP7271K 27" comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
