Samsung 860 EVO Series SSDs vs Adata SU750 Series SSDs

Analysis:

The Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2.5" 250GB and Adata SU750 256GB make for very strong choices and are great Internal SSDs for their respective $59 and $37 asking prices. Depending on how much you're willing to spend, either of these options will serve you well.

The Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2.5" 250GB has done great in various roundups conducted by reliable and unbiased sources that do their own testing, like Reviewed, Tom's Hardware, Expert Reviews, and Android Central - it earned the "Top Pick" title from Reviewed, "Best Consumer SATA SSD" from Tom's Hardware, and "The best SATA SSD you can buy" from Expert Reviews.

As for the Adata SU750 256GB, it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a reliable source that's known for conducting its own, high-quality, in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best Cheap SSDs for 2020" roundup and was named its "Best for SATA Value-to-Performance Seekers", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Internal SSDs, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2.5" 250GB got its highest, 10, rating from Expert Reviews, while the Adata SU750 256GB earned its best, 8, score from PCmag.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2.5" 250GB, with its 8.8 average, performed considerably better than most Internal SSDs - the mean score for the product category being 7.8 out of 10 - while the Adata SU750 256GB managed an average of 7.0.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2.5" 250GB vs. Adata SU750 256GB review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
