Adata XPG SX8200 Pro Series SSDs vs Intel SSD Series 320

Analysis:

The Adata XPG SSD SX8200 Pro 1TB is an exemplary product and sets the bar for all other Internal SSDs at the $150 budget.

The Intel SSD 320 600GB, however, is merely passable for its price. We suggest taking a look at some better options if you're considering buying a Internal SSD in the $330 range.

The Adata XPG SSD SX8200 Pro 1TB was loved by reviewers at PCmag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Internal SSDs for 2020" roundup where it was named its "Best for M.2 Dollar-for-Performance Value Seekers", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Intel SSD 320 600GB - Laptop Mag, a source that conducts reliable hands-on testing, has featured it in its Intel SSD 320 (300GB) Review roundup. However, it didn't make it to any of the top spots.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Internal SSDs, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Adata XPG SSD SX8200 Pro 1TB got its highest, 10, rating from Expert Reviews, while the Intel SSD 320 600GB earned its best, 8, score from Laptop Mag.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Internal SSDs on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Internal SSDs being 7.8 out of 10, whereas the Adata XPG SSD SX8200 Pro 1TB and Intel SSD 320 600GB managed averages of 9.2 and 8.0 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Adata XPG SSD SX8200 Pro 1TB vs. Intel SSD 320 600GB comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
