Amazon Fire HD (2018) vs Vankyo MatrixPad S20 (2020)

While the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2018) wasn't able to make it to the very top of any roundups from sources that perform quality hands-on testing, it still got featured in a large number of them. Expert Reviews, CNET, PCmag, What Hi-Fi?, Techradar, Good e-Reader, and 9to5Google have all deemed it worthy of a place on their respective shortlists.

Taking a look at the Vankyo MatrixPad S20 (2020), we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any Tablet roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct Amazon Fire HD 8 (2018) vs. Vankyo MatrixPad S20 (2020) comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the Vankyo MatrixPad S20 (2020).

Compared to all other Tablets on the market, however, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2018) performed great. When averaged out, it earned a rating of 7.6 out of 10, which is much better than the 7.5 review average of Tablets in general.
