Anker PowerDrive (2015) vs RAVPower RP-VC (2014)
Anker PowerDrive 2 (2015)

The Anker PowerDrive 2 (2015) has managed to impress reviewers from two reliable and objective sources that conduct their own testing, namely Android Authority and iMore. It did great in their roundups - it earned the "Ranked 1 out of 14" title from Android Authority, and "Ranked 2 out of 4" from iMore, which marks it as a product that's worth considering.
Taking a look at the RAVPower RP-VC006 (2014), we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any USB Car Charger roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.
We conducted an analysis of all of the review data that we could find on these two products. First, we focused on sources that tested and rated both of them, like Charger Harbor, and learned that they all showed a preference for the RAVPower RP-VC006 (2014).
Then we took a look at the highest review scores that these two USB Car Chargers received. We found that the Anker PowerDrive 2 (2015) managed to earn a rating of 8.9 from Charger Harbor, whereas the RAVPower RP-VC006 (2014) got its highest, 9.8, score from reviewers at Charger Harbor.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other USB Car Chargers on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by USB Car Chargers being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Anker PowerDrive 2 (2015) and RAVPower RP-VC006 (2014) managed averages of 7.9 and 9.8 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Anker PowerDrive 2 (2015) vs. RAVPower RP-VC006 (2014) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
