The Anker Soundcore 2 (2017) was loved by reviewers at Rtings, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The 7 Best Waterproof Bluetooth Speakers - Winter 2023" roundup where it was named its "Best Cheap Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the DemerBox DB2 (2017), it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at Popular Mechanics, CNET, and Android Central enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.

Lastly, we wanted to do a direct Anker Soundcore 2 (2017) vs. DemerBox DB2 (2017) comparison of their review scores, but couldn't find any ratings for the DemerBox DB2 (2017).
