Motorola MB7621 vs Arris SBG6700AC

The Motorola MB7621 makes for an outstanding Cable Modem at $129. The Arris SBG6700AC, however, while overall a good product for its asking price, doesn't quite manage to stand out from its competition - there are better Cable Modems that can be found for around $95 available here.

Two highly trusted sources that perform well-thought-out in-depth testing consider the Motorola MB7621 to be a great product - it earned the "Ranked 2 out of 6" title from mbreviews.com and "Ranked 2 out of 5" from Wirecutter in their respective Cable Modem roundups, which is a good indication of it being a notable product.

Taking a look at the Arris SBG6700AC, we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any Cable Modem roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct Motorola MB7621 vs. Arris SBG6700AC comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the Arris SBG6700AC.
