It performed great in its "Best mesh Wi-Fi router: The top mesh routers and systems for fast home Wi-Fi" roundup and earned the "Best mesh router on a budget" title.
Moving on to the Asus RT-AC51U: no sources that perform reliable and objective hands-on testing have included it in their Wi-Fi Router roundups, which usually means that a product doesn't make for a good purchase.
Lastly, we tried to do a direct Eero Pro Mesh Wi-Fi System (2018) vs. Asus RT-AC51U comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the Asus RT-AC51U.
