The HyperX QuadCast - USB Microphone HX-MICQC-BK (2019) is one of the very best Microphones that one can get for around $160. The Audio Technica Handheld Dynamic Microphone AT2005USB (2012), however, while a very good choice at its $45 price point, falls just short of being remarkable.

The HyperX QuadCast - USB Microphone HX-MICQC-BK (2019) has impressed reviewers from two sources that are among the most highly trusted on the internet, namely Laptop Mag and SoundGuys. It did great in their objective hands-on roundups - it earned the "Best USB microphone for PS4 and multiple platforms" and "Ranked 3 out of 5" awards from Laptop Mag and SoundGuys, respectively. That's high praise from such reputable sources.

As for the Audio Technica Handheld Dynamic Microphone AT2005USB (2012) - it was really well-received by reviewers at TechGearLab, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing.
