The Anker Soundcore Life Q20+ has done great in quite a few roundups from some of the most highly trusted sources available, such as TechGearLab, CNET, and Rtings, which perform high-quality in-depth testing. It got awarded the "Best Bang for Your Buck" title by TechGearLab, "Best value noise-canceling headphones" by CNET, and "Best Budget Headphones" by Rtings in their respective roundups. Earning that much praise from such respected sources is undoubtedly an impressive accomplishment.

Returning to the Audio-Technica ATH-M20x (2014), it managed to impress reviewers from two sources that are considered to be some of the most highly trusted on the internet, thanks to their in-depth hands-on testing - Rtings and SoundGuys. It performed great in their respective Wireless Headphone roundups - it was named "Best Budget Podcast Headphones" by Rtings and "Ranked 1 out of 5" by SoundGuys. That's quite an endorsement, especially coming from such high-quality sources.

Lastly, we compared their review averages and found that the Anker Soundcore Life Q20+ did much better than the majority of its competitors, with an average review score of 7.9 out of 10, compared to the 7.3 overall average of Wireless Headphones in general, whereas the Audio-Technica ATH-M20x (2014) hasn't managed to perform quite as well, with an average rating of 7.2.

Granted, the noise canceling in the Soundcore Q20 won't drown things out quite as much as more expensive cans, but the effect should be good to have in most situations. Even better, the sound quality is good for different musical genres, plus a battery that can last up to 40 hours per charge.
