Logitech C920 vs Ausdom AW615

The Logitech C920 makes for an outstanding Webcam at $49. The Ausdom AW615, however, while overall a good product for its asking price, doesn't quite manage to stand out from its competition - there are better Webcams that can be found for around $25 available here.

The Logitech C920 managed to impress reviewers from many of the internet's most highly trusted sources, including Tom's Guide, Laptop Mag, Digital Camera World, Wirecutter, and CNET. It performed really well in their Webcam roundups - it was named "The best Logitech webcam under $100" by Tom's Guide, "Put your best face forward (in high-res)" by Laptop Mag, and "Ranked 3 out of 7" by Digital Camera World. That's high praise coming from sources that conduct in-depth hands-on testing.

As for the Ausdom AW615 - it was really well-received by reviewers at Digital Camera World, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The best budget webcam in 2023" roundup and was named its "Ranked 3 out of 9", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Webcams, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Logitech C920 got its highest, 9.2, rating from PC Gamer, while the Ausdom AW615 earned its best, 7, score from Top Ten Reviews.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Logitech C920, with its 8.9 average, performed considerably better than most Webcams - the mean score for the product category being 7.2 out of 10 - while the Ausdom AW615 managed an average of 7.0.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Logitech C920 vs. Ausdom AW615 review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
