We also looked at which sources liked these products best and found that the Beats Pro (2010) got its highest, 8.3, review score from CNET, while the Shure SRH145 (2015) most impressed reviewers at PCmag, which gave it a score of 8.
Lastly, we averaged out all of their review data to compare them to their competitors. We found that the Shure SRH145 (2015), with its 8.0 out of 10 points, got reviewed noticeably better than most of its competitors - the average On-Ear Headphone score being 7.4 - whereas the Beats Pro (2010) performed worse, with an average of merely 6.8.
