BenQ PDU series monitors 2016 vs BenQ PDU series monitors 2018
The BenQ PD3200U is one of the very best Monitors that one can get for around $610. The BenQ PD2700U, however, while a very good choice at its $460 price point, falls just short of being remarkable.
The BenQ PD3200U was loved by reviewers at Digital Camera World, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "Best BenQ monitors in 2023: high-quality screens for photographers and creators" roundup where it was named its "Ranked 3 out of 6", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.
Moving on to the BenQ PD2700U: it was loved by Techradar and Windows Central - two reliable sources that conduct their own in-depth testing. In fact, it was named "The best 4K monitor for graphic design and photographers" and "Ranked 3 out of 6" in their respective roundups, which points to it being a product worthy of consideration.
When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Monitors, including Techradar and MonitorNerds, preferred the BenQ PD3200U over the BenQ PD2700U.
We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The BenQ PD3200U was liked best by Techradar, which gave it a score of 10, while the BenQ PD2700U got its highest, 9.2, score from MonitorNerds.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Monitors on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Monitors being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the BenQ PD3200U and BenQ PD2700U managed averages of 8.7 and 8.6 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct BenQ PD3200U vs. BenQ PD2700U comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
