The beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (1985) managed to impress reviewers from many of the internet's most highly trusted sources, including tuck.com, PCmag, CNET, Rtings, and Digital Camera World. It performed really well in their Over-Ear Headphone roundups - it was named "Best Over-Ear Headphones" by tuck.com, "Best for Impedance Options" by PCmag, and "Best wired studio headphones" by CNET. That's high praise coming from sources that conduct in-depth hands-on testing.

As for the TwelveSouth AirFly analysis - it impressed reviewers at The Independent, a source that's known for its objective testing and well-thought-out methodology - it performed great in its "10 best in-flight accessories" roundup and earned the "Ranked 2 out of 10" title.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (1985) vs. TwelveSouth AirFly comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the TwelveSouth AirFly.

Compared to all other Over-Ear Headphones on the market, however, the beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (1985) performed great. When averaged out, it earned a rating of 8.2 out of 10, which is much better than the 7.5 review average of Over-Ear Headphones in general.
