The Vitamix S30 was loved by reviewers at Your Best Digs, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Personal Blenders" roundup where it was named its "Ranked 2 out of 11", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Blendtec Classic 560 (2015) - it wasn't considered to be a good enough purchase to earn a spot in any roundups conducted by sources that perform objective hands-on testing, which typically indicates that a product isn't worth its asking price.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct Vitamix S30 vs. Blendtec Classic 560 (2015) comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the Blendtec Classic 560 (2015).

Vitamix has two blenders in this lineup - the S30 and S55. The only differences between the two models are the more appealing brushed stainless finish of the S55 and its four pre-programmed settings for preparing smoothies, power-extensive blends, dips and spreads, and frozen desserts.

Both blenders are well built and come with 10 speeds that enable users to dial-in the desired texture and consistency of their blending results. The blenders come with a 20 and 40 oz container.

The Vitamix Space Savings countertop blenders lack the power of larger countertop blenders, while still being considerably larger than virtually any personal blender. They are also quite heavy and can get loud at higher speeds. Some users also report having difficulties with cleaning the blades.

Blendtec's Classic 560 is a 2015 countertop blender that's very similar to the 2014 Blendtec Classic versions - the 475 and the 575. The main difference between these three blenders is the number of speed settings - the 560 has four, the 475 has three, and the 575 has five. Additionally, the 575 comes with four presets for different tasks, which increases the versatility of the blender.

The Blendtec Classic 560 has a powerful 3 hp motor. Four speeds are enough for most needs, and there's also a useful pulse function for quickly chopping food into smaller pieces. The performance is quite good as the device can easily produce even demanding foods, like nut butter.
