Analysis:
The Google Nest Hub (2018) has managed to impress reviewers from some of the most highly trusted sources on the internet, including CNET and PCmag. It performed great in their in-depth hands-on roundups - it was awarded the "The best countertop smart display" title by CNET and "Best for Google Assistant" by The Spruce in their respective Smart Display roundups. That's high praise, especially when coming from such high-quality sources.
As for the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin (2015) - it impressed reviewers from a large number of trusted sources that are known for their reliable hands-on testing, including livingetc.com, Expert Reviews, Gear Patrol, Good Housekeeping, creativebloq.com, and reviewgeek.com. It performed great in their respective roundups - it got named "Best high-end smart speaker" by livingetc.com, "The best-sounding Alexa speaker" by Expert Reviews, and "Ranked 1 out of 5" by Gear Patrol. Such endorsement from trusted sources marks it as a product that's worthy of consideration.
We analyzed all of the review data that we could find on these two Smart Displays. First, we examined sources that tested and scored both of these products - T3, Techradar, Digitaltrends, and PCmag favored the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin (2015) over the Google Nest Hub (2018), whereas reviewers at Expert Reviews and TrustedReviews haven't shown a preference for either.
Then we took a look at which sources liked them the most - we found that the Google Nest Hub (2018) was best received by Expert Reviews - it gave it a score of 10, whereas the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin (2015) got its highest score of 10 from reviewers at HomeTheaterReview.com.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Smart Displays on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Smart Displays being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the Google Nest Hub (2018) and Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin (2015) managed averages of 8.4 and 8.7 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Google Nest Hub (2018) vs. Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin (2015) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
