The Braun MultiQuick 7 MQ was loved by reviewers at The Independent, a trustworthy source that performs objective hands-on testing. It did great in their "6 best hand blenders | The Independent" roundup - in fact, they named it their "Ranked 1 out of 6". That, by itself, points toward it being a noteworthy Immersion Blender.
Taking a look at the xProject Hand Blender HB-2075 (2018), we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any Immersion Blender roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.
Lastly, we tried to do a direct Braun MultiQuick 7 MQ vs. xProject Hand Blender HB-2075 (2018) comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the xProject Hand Blender HB-2075 (2018).
Compared to all other Immersion Blenders on the market, however, the Braun MultiQuick 7 MQ performed great. When averaged out, it earned a rating of 9.4 out of 10, which is much better than the 7.8 review average of Immersion Blenders in general.
Braun's 2016 MultiQuick 7 immersion blender lineup consists of two versions - the MQ725 and MQ777. These two models only differ in their included accessories - the MQ777 has more of them, which makes it the more versatile choice of the two.
Other than that, both blenders are powerful and produce great results. They have a useful function called Smart-Speed that enables users to control the speed of the blades by changing the pressure with which they're holding the power button. They're also very ergonomic and comfortable to use for longer periods of time. They come with a warranty of three years.
However, in spite of their warranty, there are some build quality concerns - users report that the included plastic containers and some accessories feel flimsy.
The 2018 xProject Hand Blender HB-2075 is a decent budget immersion blender that has a powerful motor and six speed settings. It comes with a selection of useful, high-quality accessories, like a storage stand, food processor, and whisk attachment.
However, there are reports of its blades getting rusty, motors burning out, and other build quality issues. It's also quite loud, difficult to clean, and its powerful motor doesn't directly translate to good performance when dealing with tough foods.
