Epson SureColor P400 vs Canon MX922 iP110

Analysis:

While the Epson SureColor P400 makes for a fairly good Home Printer for people with a $660 budget, we weren't able to find enough data on the Canon MX922 iP110 to come to any reliable conclusions.

In either case, we suggest that you look at some other options before committing to one of these.

If you'd nonetheless like to learn more about the Epson SureColor P400 and Canon MX922 iP110, however, we wrote a summary of what we know about them:

The Epson SureColor P400 was loved by reviewers at PCmag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Photo Printers for 2020" roundup where it was named its "Best for Extra-Large, Pro-Grade Photo Prints", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Canon MX922 iP110, it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at PCmag, Macworld, Techradar, and Android Central enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.

We examined all of the review data that we could find and first took a look at sources that reviewed both of them, like PCmag, and found that they haven't shown a preference for either product.

Then we checked which sources liked these two Home Printers best and found that the Epson SureColor P400 got its highest, 9, review score from reviewers at Digitaltrends, whereas the Canon MX922 iP110 earned its best score of 8 from PCmag.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Home Printers on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Home Printers being 7.1 out of 10, whereas the Epson SureColor P400 and Canon MX922 iP110 managed averages of 8.2 and 7.7 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Epson SureColor P400 vs. Canon MX922 iP110 comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
