LulzBot Mini (2018) vs CEL RoboxDual (2016)

Windows Central, a source known for its hands-on testing and objective methodology, had good things to say about the LulzBot Mini 2 (2018). It performed great in its "Best Portable 3D Printers of 2022" roundup and earned the "Ranked 1 out of 3" title.

As for the CEL RoboxDual (2016) - Techradar, a source that conducts reliable hands-on testing, has featured it in its CEL-UK RoboxDual review roundup. However, it didn't make it to any of the top spots.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these 3D Printers, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the LulzBot Mini 2 (2018) got its highest, 9, rating from Tom's Guide, while the CEL RoboxDual (2016) earned its best, 8, score from Techradar.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other 3D Printers on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by 3D Printers being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the LulzBot Mini 2 (2018) and CEL RoboxDual (2016) managed averages of 8.5 and 8.0 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct LulzBot Mini 2 (2018) vs. CEL RoboxDual (2016) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
