The Mueller Austria Ultra-Stick Immersion Blender 1 001 (2017) was loved by reviewers at TechGearLab, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The 4 Best Immersion Hand Blenders" roundup where it was named its "Best Heavy Duty Hand Blender", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.
Moving on to the Chefman Immersion 2-Speed Blender (2016): no sources that perform reliable and objective hands-on testing have included it in their Immersion Blender roundups, which usually means that a product doesn't make for a good purchase.
Lastly, we wanted to do a direct Mueller Austria Ultra-Stick Immersion Blender 1 001 (2017) vs. Chefman Immersion 2-Speed Blender (2016) comparison of their review performance, but were unable to find any review ratings of the Chefman Immersion 2-Speed Blender (2016).
We nevertheless pitted the Mueller Austria Ultra-Stick Immersion Blender 1 001 (2017) against other Immersion Blenders on the market and found that it, on average, performed worse than its competitors - it earned a review average of 4.6 out of 10, compared to the 7.8 review average of Immersion Blenders in general.
The Product:
The Chefman Immersion 2-Speed Blender and Chefman Immersion 12-Speed Blender, released in 2016 and 2018 respectively, are almost the same product - the only difference between them is that the newer version has 12 speeds, making it considerably more versatile. Both blenders are very good for soups and can even deal with more demanding tasks like crushing ice. They're also easy to use and clean.
Unfortunately, both versions come without any attachments, have problems with whipping cream, and aren't particularly good for tasks other than making soup or crushing food.
