Intel SSD Series 750 (2015) vs Corsair Force Series MP510 2018

Analysis:

The Intel SSD 750 AIC 1.2TB is a great Internal SSD for its $1100 asking price.

The Corsair SSD Force MP510 240GB, however, is merely passable at its $63 price point. If you're considering buying a Internal SSD in the $55 range, you might want to check out some of its competitors.

While the Intel SSD 750 AIC 1.2TB wasn't able to make it to the very top of any roundups from sources that perform quality hands-on testing, it still got featured in a large number of them. Expert Reviews, TechSpot, Techradar, TrustedReviews, PCmag, and PCWorld have all deemed it worthy of a place on their respective shortlists.

As for the Corsair SSD Force MP510 240GB, it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at TechSpot, Tom's Hardware, and Wirecutter (NYTimes) enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Internal SSDs, including TechSpot, preferred the Intel SSD 750 AIC 1.2TB over the Corsair SSD Force MP510 240GB.

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The Intel SSD 750 AIC 1.2TB was liked best by Expert Reviews, which gave it a score of 10, while the Corsair SSD Force MP510 240GB got its highest, 9.1, score from TechSpot.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Internal SSDs on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Internal SSDs being 7.8 out of 10, whereas the Intel SSD 750 AIC 1.2TB and Corsair SSD Force MP510 240GB managed averages of 8.3 and 8.4 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Intel SSD 750 AIC 1.2TB vs. Corsair SSD Force MP510 240GB comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
