Both the Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB and the Crucial SSD P1 1TB are great Internal SSDs for people that are willing to spend around $100; it's impossible to go wrong with either option.

The Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB was loved by reviewers at PCmag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best Cheap SSDs for 2020" roundup where it was named its "Best for Cash-Conscious Creative Professionals", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Crucial SSD P1 1TB - it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best PCI Express NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs) for 2020" roundup and was named its "Best for Budget Buyers Seeking Raw Capacity", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

Our direct Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB vs. Crucial SSD P1 1TB comparison of their review scores has shown that, out of sources that tested both Internal SSDs, PCmag and Tom's Hardware preferred the Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB, whereas PCWorld seemed to like both equally.
