iLife A4s vs Dyson 360 Eye

Analysis:

The iLife A4s and Dyson 360 Eye make for good, if unremarkable, Robot Vacuums at their respective budgets.

With that said, while they both should serve reasonably well, you might want to look into other options at the $180 and $1,000 price points - it's likely that there are some better alternatives available.

If you want to learn more about the iLife A4s and the Dyson 360 Eye, however, we prepared a summary of the information that we have:

While the iLife A4s wasn't able to make it to the very top of any roundups from sources that perform quality hands-on testing, it still got featured in a large number of them. Modern Castle, PCmag, TechGearLab, Reviewed, Wirecutter (NYTimes), and inews.co.uk have all deemed it worthy of a place on their respective shortlists.

Moving on to the Dyson 360 Eye: it was unable to reach the very top of any roundups from sources that conduct reliable and unbiased testing. Nonetheless, it still managed to impress reviewers from a number of such sites, like Expert Reviews, Techradar, CNET, slashgear.com, PCmag, and inews.co.uk, enough for them to include them on those lists.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Robot Vacuums, including PCmag, preferred the iLife A4s over the Dyson 360 Eye.

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The iLife A4s was liked best by Modern Castle, which gave it a score of 9.1, while the Dyson 360 Eye got its highest, 10, score from Pocket-lint.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Robot Vacuums on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Robot Vacuums being 7.2 out of 10, whereas the iLife A4s and Dyson 360 Eye managed averages of 8.0 and 7.8 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct iLife A4s vs. Dyson 360 Eye comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
