Analysis:

While the Brother HL-L2300D makes for a fairly good Home Printer for people with a $75 budget, we weren't able to find enough data on the Epson SureColor P600 to come to any reliable conclusions.

In either case, we suggest that you look at some other options before committing to one of these.

If you'd nonetheless like to learn more about the Brother HL-L2300D and Epson SureColor P600, however, we wrote a summary of what we know about them:

Good Housekeeping, a review site with a history of doing objective hands-on testing, has great things to say about the Brother HL-L2300D. In fact, it's "Best Monochrome Printer" in its "8 Best Printers of 2020 for Your Dream Home Office" roundup, which points toward it being a good Home Printer.

As for the Epson SureColor P600 - it was received really well by reviewers from a couple of highly trusted sources, such as Wirecutter (NYTimes), Wirecutter, and TechGearLab; it performed great in their in-depth hands-on roundups and earned the "Top Pick" title from Wirecutter (NYTimes), "Top Pick" from Wirecutter, and "Top Pick" from TechGearLab, which indicates that this product is worthy of consideration.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Home Printers, including Techradar and PCmag, preferred the Brother HL-L2300D over the Epson SureColor P600.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Home Printers on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Home Printers being 7.1 out of 10, whereas the Brother HL-L2300D and Epson SureColor P600 managed averages of 8.7 and 8.4 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Brother HL-L2300D vs. Epson SureColor P600 comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
