Etymotic ER4 (2016) vs Google Pixel Buds

Analysis:

While the Etymotic ER4XR makes for a fairly good In-Ear Monitor for people with a $310 budget, we weren't able to find enough data on the Google Pixel Buds to come to any reliable conclusions.

In either case, we suggest that you look at some other options before committing to one of these.

As for the Google Pixel Buds - it was really well-received by reviewers at Tom's Guide, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "Best wireless earbuds for 2020" roundup and was named its "Smart buds with excellent Google integration", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both In-Ear Monitors, including PCmag, Digitaltrends, What Hi-Fi?, and Rtings, preferred the Etymotic ER4XR over the Google Pixel Buds.
