The Moov Now (2016) has done great in various roundups conducted by reliable and unbiased sources that do their own testing, like Techradar, reviewgeek.com, and iMore - it earned the "Ranked 1 out of 10" title from Techradar, "Ranked 1 out of 6" from reviewgeek.com, and "Ranked 2 out of 5" from iMore.
Taking a look at the Garmin Vivosport (2017), we found it was well-received by reviewers from a couple of reliable sources that conduct their own hands-on testing, including Expert Reviews, 220triathlon.com, 9to5Google, and Android Central. It performed great in their Fitness Tracker roundups - it managed to earn the "The best Garmin fitness band" title from Expert Reviews, "Ranked 3 out of 4" from 220triathlon.com, and "Ranked 2 out of 6" from 9to5Google, which is a notable accomplishment.
Out of the sources that tested and rated both of these Fitness Trackers, Wareable, TrustedReviews, and Techradar preferred the Moov Now (2016), whereas reviewers at PCmag liked the Garmin Vivosport (2017) better. Expert Reviews gave them identical review scores.
We also took a look at which sources liked these products best - the highest Moov Now (2016) rating came from Wareable, whereas the Garmin Vivosport (2017) most impressed reviewers at TechGearLab; they earned scores of 9 and 9, respectively.
Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Fitness Trackers on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Fitness Trackers being 7.5 out of 10, whereas the Moov Now (2016) and Garmin Vivosport (2017) managed averages of 8.4 and 8.0 points, respectively.
Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Moov Now (2016) vs. Garmin Vivosport (2017) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
