Analysis:

The Amazon Echo Studio (2019) managed to impress reviewers from many of the internet's most highly trusted sources, including Tom's Guide, Rtings, CNET, Wirecutter, Consumer Reports, and PCmag. It performed really well in their Smart Speaker roundups - it was named "The best sounding smart speaker made by Amazon" by Tom's Guide, "Best Lower Mid-Range Alexa Speaker" by Rtings, and "The best sounding Amazon Echo" by CNET. That's high praise coming from sources that conduct in-depth hands-on testing.

As for the Google Nest Hub (2018) - it was received really well by reviewers from a couple of highly trusted sources, such as CNET, Tom's Guide, and PCmag; it performed great in their in-depth hands-on roundups and earned the "The best countertop smart display" title from CNET, "Ranked 1 out of 12" from Tom's Guide, and "Ranked 1 out of 10" from PCmag, which indicates that this product is worthy of consideration.

Out of the sources that tested and rated both of these Smart Speakers, techadvisor.com, PCmag, and Techradar preferred the Amazon Echo Studio (2019), whereas reviewers at Expert Reviews and CNET liked the Google Nest Hub (2018) better. TrustedReviews, T3, and Top Ten Reviews gave them identical review scores.

We also took a look at which sources liked these products best - the highest Amazon Echo Studio (2019) rating came from techadvisor.com, whereas the Google Nest Hub (2018) most impressed reviewers at Expert Reviews; they earned scores of 10 and 10, respectively.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Smart Speakers on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Smart Speakers being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Amazon Echo Studio (2019) and Google Nest Hub (2018) managed averages of 8.5 and 8.5 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Amazon Echo Studio (2019) vs. Google Nest Hub (2018) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
