The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (2020) is a great choice for people with a $150 budget. The Google Pixel 3a (2019), however, is merely decent when compared to its direct competitors.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (2020) managed to impress reviewers from two reliable and unbiased sources that conduct their own hands-on testing, namely Android Authority and Android Central. It performed great in their roundups - it earned the "Ranked 1 out of 6" title from Android Authority and "Ranked 1 out of 4" from Android Central, which makes it a product worthy of consideration.
Returning to the Google Pixel 3a (2019), it managed to impress reviewers from some of the internet's most highly trusted sources, CNET and Tom's Guide. It performed great in their hands-on roundups - it was named "Cheaper Pixel 3 with same great camera" by CNET and "Ranked 3 out of 10" by Tom's Guide. That's quite an achievement, especially coming from such high-quality sources.
