Google Pixel 6 (2021) vs Moto G Fast (2020)

The Google Pixel 6 Pro (2021) has done great in quite a few roundups from some of the most highly trusted sources available, such as CNET, Digital Camera World, and AnandTech, which perform high-quality in-depth testing. It got awarded the "Flagship phone with a great value" title by CNET, "Ranked 3 out of 8" by Digital Camera World, and "Ranked 1 out of 2" by AnandTech in their respective roundups. Earning that much praise from such respected sources is undoubtedly an impressive accomplishment.

As for the Moto G Fast (2020) analysis - it impressed reviewers at MakeUseOf, a source that's known for its objective testing and well-thought-out methodology - it performed great in its "The 7 Best Smartphones for Battery Life" roundup and earned the "Best value" title.

To get a better idea of how they fare when compared directly to each other, we analyzed review scores of sources that tested both. PCmag and Android Central, for example, preferred the Google Pixel 6 Pro (2021), while Tom's Guide rated both of them the same.

We also took a look at which sources had the best things to say about them. We learned that the Google Pixel 6 Pro (2021) got reviewed the highest by Digital Camera World - it gave it a rating of 10, while the Moto G Fast (2020) most impressed reviewers at Tom's Guide, which gave it a score of 8.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Google Pixel 6 Pro (2021), with its 8.7 average, performed considerably better than most Smartphones - the mean score for the product category being 7.5 out of 10 - while the Moto G Fast (2020) managed an average of 7.3.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Google Pixel 6 Pro (2021) vs. Moto G Fast (2020) review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
