Hisense H9 Quantum series TVs (2020) vs LG NANO90 series TVs (2020)
The Hisense H9G Quantum 55" is a great TV for its $699 asking price.
The LG NANO90 65", however, while a reasonable product for $996, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering TVs in the $1,000 range, you might want to check out some better options.
Two highly trusted sources that perform well-thought-out in-depth testing consider the Hisense H9G Quantum 55" to be a great product - it earned the "Best 55 Inch TV For HDR" title from Rtings and "Excellent Value for the Price" from PCmag in their respective TV roundups, which is a good indication of it being a notable product.
As for the LG NANO90 65", it was really well-received by reviewers at Rtings, a reliable source that's known for conducting its own, high-quality, in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The 6 Best 4k TVs Under $1,500 - Winter 2021" roundup and was named its "Runner Up for Best 65 Inch TV Under $1,500 - Wide Angle Alternative", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.
When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both TVs, including Rtings, preferred the Hisense H9G Quantum 55" over the LG NANO90 65".
We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The Hisense H9G Quantum 55" was liked best by PCmag, which gave it a score of 9, while the LG NANO90 65" got its highest, 8, score from Pocket-lint.
Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Hisense H9G Quantum 55", with its 8.7 average, performed considerably better than most TVs - the mean score for the product category being 7.7 out of 10 - while the LG NANO90 65" managed an average of 7.7.
There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Hisense H9G Quantum 55" vs. LG NANO90 65" review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
