HyperX Alloy Elite 2 vs Razer BlackWidow (2019)

Analysis:

The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 makes for a mediocre Gaming Keyboard and should be avoided by the majority of people.

In the case of the Razer BlackWidow (2019), however, we were unable to find enough data to come to any meaningful conclusions.

There are considerably better alternatives that can be found for around $100 and $180 available on the market.

If you're still interested in reading more about the HyperX Alloy Elite 2, however, here's a quick summary of what we know about it:

The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 managed to impress reviewers from two reliable and unbiased sources that conduct their own hands-on testing, namely Expert Reviews and The Independent. It performed great in their roundups - it earned the "The best gaming keyboard for features" title from Expert Reviews and "Ranked 1 out of 11" from The Independent, which makes it a product worthy of consideration.

As for the Razer BlackWidow (2019), it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at kitguru.net, TrustedReviews, PCmag, and Rtings enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Gaming Keyboards, including PCmag, preferred the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 over the Razer BlackWidow (2019).

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 was liked best by idg.com.au, which gave it a score of 8.5, while the Razer BlackWidow (2019) got its highest, 8, score from kitguru.net.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Gaming Keyboards on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Gaming Keyboards being 7.3 out of 10, whereas the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 and Razer BlackWidow (2019) managed averages of 7.5 and 7.7 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct HyperX Alloy Elite 2 vs. Razer BlackWidow (2019) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
