It did great in their "Best Processor (CPU) for Your Custom PC in 2021" roundup - in fact, they named it their "Best Budget". That, by itself, points toward it being a noteworthy CPU.
As for the Intel Core i9-9900K - it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best CPUs for Gaming in 2020" roundup and was named its "Best for Peak Frame Rates, Content Work on 300 Series (Socket LGA 1151)", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.
