It did great in its "The Best CPUs for Gaming in 2020" roundup where it was named its "Best for Peak Frame Rates, Content Work on 300 Series (Socket LGA 1151)", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.
Taking a look at the Intel Core i5-7600K, it got featured in roundups from two reliable sources that conduct their own testing - PC Gamer and Techradar - but it fell short of earning a top spot in either.
We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these CPUs, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.
We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Intel Core i9-9900K got its highest, 9, rating from Tom's Hardware, while the Intel Core i5-7600K earned its best, 8.7, score from PC Gamer.
