Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro vs Jays a-Jays Five (2013)

Analysis:

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro is a relatively good Earphone for people that are willing to spend around $85. The Jays a-Jays Five (2013), by contrast, is quite unremarkable and doesn't stand out in any meaningful way from other products at this price point.

In both cases, however, we recommend that you take look at some other options at the $85 and $50 budget ranges; in all likelihood you'll find some better alternatives.

If you're still interested in learning more about the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro and Jays a-Jays Five (2013), however, we wrote a summary of what we know about them:

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro was loved by reviewers at CNET, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "Best back-to-school headphones for 2021" roundup where it was named its "Best value for premium true wireless sound", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Jays a-Jays Five (2013), it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at Head-fi, TrustedReviews, What Hi-Fi?, and Gear Patrol enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Earphones, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro got its highest, 9.5, rating from Technically Well, while the Jays a-Jays Five (2013) earned its best, 7, score from Digitaltrends.

Lastly, we averaged out all of their review ratings and observed that the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro, with its 8.0 average, performed considerably better than most Earphones - the mean score for the product category being 7.3 out of 10 - while the Jays a-Jays Five (2013) managed an average of 6.5.

There's one caveat here - it might not be entirely justifiable to do a direct Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro vs. Jays a-Jays Five (2013) review average comparison since they aren't priced the same and more expensive products tend to get higher review scores from some sources.
