Anker Soundcore Motion (2019) vs JBL Portable Link Smart Speakers (2017)

The JBL Link 10 (2017) was loved by reviewers at CNET, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "Best Christmas gifts for under $100: Bose and JBL wireless speakers, SNES Classic and more" roundup where it was named its "Ranked 2 out of 13", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Taking a look at the Anker Soundcore Motion+ (2019), we found that it did great in numerous roundups from highly trusted sources that conduct objective in-depth testing, including CNET, Rtings, and SoundGuys - it was named "Best around $100" by CNET, "Best Lower Mid-Range Portable Bluetooth Speaker" by Rtings, and "Ranked 3 out of 5" by SoundGuys. A product that's held in such high regard by some of the most reliable sources on the internet should be considered by anyone that's in the market for a Smart Speaker at this price.

We analyzed all of the review data that we could find on these two Smart Speakers. First, we examined sources that tested and scored both of these products - CNET favored the Anker Soundcore Motion+ (2019) over the JBL Link 10 (2017), whereas reviewers at Techradar haven't shown a preference for either.

Then we took a look at which sources liked them the most - we found that the JBL Link 10 (2017) was best received by Technically Well - it gave it a score of 9.5, whereas the Anker Soundcore Motion+ (2019) got its highest score of 8.7 from reviewers at CNET.
