JLab JBuds Air (2018) vs JLab Go Air

The JLab JBuds Air (2018) is widely considered to be a great Earphone at its $30 budget. The JLab Go Air, however, while also a good product at this price point, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well.

The JLab JBuds Air (2018) was loved by reviewers at Tom's Guide, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The best cheap wireless earbuds in 2021" roundup where it was named its "The best cheap wireless earbuds overall", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Returning to the JLab Go Air, it managed to impress reviewers from two sources that are considered to be some of the most highly trusted on the internet, thanks to their in-depth hands-on testing - PCmag and SoundGuys. It performed great in their respective Earphone roundups - it was named "Best for Lowest True Wireless Price" by PCmag and "Best workout" by SoundGuys. That's quite an endorsement, especially coming from such high-quality sources.

For a direct JLab JBuds Air (2018) vs. JLab Go Air comparison, we took a look at sources that tested both and found that the JLab JBuds Air (2018) got reviewed better by SoundGuys and Android Authority, whereas the reviewers at WIRED and Techradar preferred the JLab Go Air. Reviewers at PCmag haven't shown a preference for either.
