The Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB is among the very best Internal SSDs for $119 and the Kingston KC2000 250GB is exemplary at $79. Depending on how much you're willing to spend, you can't go wrong with either option.

The Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB was loved by reviewers at PCmag, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "The Best PCI Express NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs) for 2020" roundup where it was named its "Best for Performance-Minded Upgraders", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

As for the Kingston KC2000 250GB - it was really well-received by reviewers at PCmag, a great source that's known for conducting high-quality in-depth testing. It performed great in its "The Best Internal SSDs for 2020" roundup and was named its "Best for Budget Upgraders", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

Out of the sources that tested and rated both of these Internal SSDs, Tom's Hardware preferred the Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500GB, whereas reviewers at PCWorld liked the Kingston KC2000 250GB better. PCmag gave them identical review scores.
