The Leica Q2 (2019) is a great Mirrorless Camera for its $5195 asking price.

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II (2016), however, is merely passable at its $1599 price point. If you're considering buying a Mirrorless Camera in the $1,600 range, you might want to check out some of its competitors.

The Leica Q2 (2019) hasn't managed to earn a top spot in any roundups from sources that conduct trustworthy hands-on testing. Nevertheless, reviewers from sites, such as ePHOTOzine, PCmag, and TrustedReviews all gave it a spot on their list.

As for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II (2016), it wasn't able to earn a top spot in any roundups from trusted sources that conduct their own hands-on testing. Nevertheless, it managed to impress reviewers at ePHOTOzine, TrustedReviews, and PCmag enough to make it onto their respective shortlists.

To get a better idea of how they fare when compared directly to each other, we analyzed review scores of sources that tested both. PCmag, for example, preferred the Leica Q2 (2019), while ePHOTOzine and TrustedReviews rated both of them the same.

We also took a look at which sources had the best things to say about them. We learned that the Leica Q2 (2019) got reviewed the highest by ePHOTOzine - it gave it a rating of 9, while the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II (2016) most impressed reviewers at ePHOTOzine, which gave it a score of 9.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Mirrorless Cameras on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Mirrorless Cameras being 7.9 out of 10, whereas the Leica Q2 (2019) and Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II (2016) managed averages of 9.0 and 8.7 points, respectively.
