Nokia 9 (2019) vs LG G6

Analysis:

The Nokia 9 PureView (2019) makes for a good, if unremarkable, Smartphone for people with a $670 budget.

The LG G6, however, is merely mediocre at its $188 asking price, when compared to similarly priced products, and won't satisfy the needs of most people.

In either case, we suggest that you first take a look at some other options at the $670 and $180 price points before committing to one of these - it's likely that you'll be able to find some better alternatives.

If you're still interested in learning more about the Nokia 9 PureView (2019) and LG G6, however, we wrote a summary of what we could find about them:

The Nokia 9 PureView (2019) has done remarkably well in a large number of roundups done by reliable sources that perform their own hands-on testing, such as nextpit.com, Android Central, slashgear.com, Techradar, and Android Authority. It earned numerous awards - "Best camera" from nextpit.com, "Best for Photography" from Android Central, and "Best Camera of MWC 2019" from slashgear.com.

As for the LG G6 analysis - it impressed reviewers at Android Central, a source that's known for its objective testing and well-thought-out methodology - it performed great in its "Best T-Mobile Prepaid Phones" roundup and earned the "Best for less" title.

We analyzed all of the review data that we could find on these two Smartphones. First, we examined sources that tested and scored both of these products - GSMArena, Android Authority, Digitaltrends, PhoneArena, Techradar, and PCmag favored the LG G6 over the Nokia 9 PureView (2019), whereas reviewers at AVForums haven't shown a preference for either.

Then we took a look at which sources liked them the most - we found that the Nokia 9 PureView (2019) was best received by AVForums - it gave it a score of 8, whereas the LG G6 got its highest score of 10 from reviewers at Pocket-lint.

Lastly, in order to better compare them to the rest of their competition, we averaged out their review scores. The LG G6 managed to get 8.2 out of 10 - considerably better than the 7.5 review average of Smartphones in general - whereas the Nokia 9 PureView (2019) earned 6.7 points.

It should be said that doing a direct Nokia 9 PureView (2019) vs. LG G6 comparison might not be entirely fair due to the difference in their prices - some sources don't put much weight on value for money and thus tend to give better review scores to more expensive products.
