Logitech G502 Hero (2018) vs Redragon M686

Analysis:

The Logitech G502 Hero (2018) is widely considered to be a great Gaming Mouse at its $45 budget. The Redragon M686, however, while also a good product at this price point, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well.

The Logitech G502 Hero (2018) impressed reviewers from numerous sources that do high-quality in-depth testing, such as Wirecutter (NYTimes), reviewgeek.com, Tom's Guide, Rtings, and TechGearLab. It performed amazingly well in their roundups - it was dubbed "Top Pick" by Wirecutter (NYTimes), "The Best All-Around Gaming Mouse" by reviewgeek.com, and "The best gaming mouse overall" by Tom's Guide. That, by itself, suggests that it's an excellent product.

Taking a look at the Redragon M686, we found that it hasn't managed to perform well enough to earn a spot in any Gaming Mouse roundups done by sources that conduct their own, high-quality, hands-on testing. That alone makes it difficult to recommend.

Lastly, we tried to do a direct Logitech G502 Hero (2018) vs. Redragon M686 comparison of review ratings between these two products, but couldn't find any review scores for the Redragon M686.

Compared to all other Gaming Mice on the market, however, the Logitech G502 Hero (2018) performed great. When averaged out, it earned a rating of 8.4 out of 10, which is much better than the 7.5 review average of Gaming Mice in general.
