SteelSeries Wireless Rival 650 Mouse (2018) vs Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse (2013)

Analysis:

The SteelSeries Wireless Rival 650 Mouse (2018) is a great Gaming Mouse for its $119 asking price.

The Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse (2013), however, while a reasonable product for $48, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Gaming Mice in the $60 range, you might want to check out some better options.

The SteelSeries Wireless Rival 650 Mouse (2018) has impressed reviewers from two sources that are among the most highly trusted on the internet, namely Wirecutter (NYTimes) and PCmag. It did great in their objective hands-on roundups - it earned the "Also great" and "Best for Gamers Keen to Customize" awards from Wirecutter (NYTimes) and PCmag, respectively. That's high praise from such reputable sources.

As for our analysis of the Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse (2013) - it's considered to be a great product by two reliable sources that do their own hands-on testing - it earned the "Best Wireless" award from Windows Central and "Ranked 2 out of 9" from Android Central, which is no small feat.

We examined all of the review data that we could find and first took a look at sources that reviewed both of them, like PCmag, and found that they haven't shown a preference for either product.

Then we checked which sources liked these two Gaming Mice best and found that the SteelSeries Wireless Rival 650 Mouse (2018) got its highest, 9, review score from reviewers at GBAtemp, whereas the Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse (2013) earned its best score of 9 from Lifewire.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Gaming Mice on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Gaming Mice being 7.5 out of 10, whereas the SteelSeries Wireless Rival 650 Mouse (2018) and Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse (2013) managed averages of 8.5 and 8.0 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct SteelSeries Wireless Rival 650 Mouse (2018) vs. Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse (2013) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
