Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) vs Logitech G910 Series (2014)

Analysis:

The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) is a great Wired Keyboard for its $50 asking price.

The Logitech G910 Orion Spark Series Keyboard (2014), on the other hand, is not worth its $176 price tag and should be avoided by most people. We strongly suggest that you take a look at some better alternatives if you're considering spending around $190 on a Wired Keyboard.

The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) got praised by TechGearLab and Tom's Guide - two highly trusted sources that perform in-depth hands-on testing. It was awarded the "Good All-Around Option" title from TechGearLab and "Ranked 1 out of 4" from Tom's Guide in their respective Wired Keyboard roundups.

Moving on to the Logitech G910 Orion Spark Series Keyboard (2014): it was unable to reach the very top of any roundups from sources that conduct reliable and unbiased testing. Nonetheless, it still managed to impress reviewers from a number of such sites, like hardwarezone.com.sg, GBAtemp, TechSpot, Techradar, Tom's Guide, kitguru.net, PCmag, and PCWorld, enough for them to include them on those lists.

When we thoroughly analyzed their review scores, we learned that all of the sources that tested both Wired Keyboards, including PCmag, preferred the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) over the Logitech G910 Orion Spark Series Keyboard (2014).

We also took a look at which sources they managed to impress the most. The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) was liked best by PCmag, which gave it a score of 10, while the Logitech G910 Orion Spark Series Keyboard (2014) got its highest, 8.5, score from hardwarezone.com.sg.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Wired Keyboards on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Wired Keyboards being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) and Logitech G910 Orion Spark Series Keyboard (2014) managed averages of 7.8 and 7.8 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard (2005) vs. Logitech G910 Orion Spark Series Keyboard (2014) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
