Cooler Master MK730 (2018) vs Logitech K800 (2010)

The Cooler Master MK730 (2018) has impressed reviewers from two sources that are among the most highly trusted on the internet, namely Wirecutter (NYTimes) and TechGearLab. It did great in their objective hands-on roundups - it earned the "Top Pick" and "Best Tenkeyless Gaming Keyboard" awards from Wirecutter (NYTimes) and TechGearLab, respectively. That's high praise from such reputable sources.

Taking a look at the Logitech K800 (2010), we found it was well-received by reviewers from a couple of reliable sources that conduct their own hands-on testing, including PCWorld, Windows Central, TechSpot, and Tom's Guide. It performed great in their Wired Keyboard roundups - it managed to earn the "Best overall wireless desktop keyboard " title from PCWorld, "Best Wireless for Windows" from Windows Central, and "Best Wireless Keyboard" from TechSpot, which is a notable accomplishment.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Wired Keyboards, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Cooler Master MK730 (2018) got its highest, 9.3, rating from GND-Tech, while the Logitech K800 (2010) earned its best, 7.7, score from CNET.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Wired Keyboards on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Wired Keyboards being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Cooler Master MK730 (2018) and Logitech K800 (2010) managed averages of 9.3 and 7.7 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Cooler Master MK730 (2018) vs. Logitech K800 (2010) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
