Logitech K800 (2010) vs HyperX Alloy Elite 2

Analysis:

The Logitech K800 (2010) is a great Wired Keyboard for its $59 asking price.

The HyperX Alloy Elite 2, however, while a reasonable product for $269, doesn't stack up against its competitors quite as well. If you're considering Wired Keyboards in the $310 range, you might want to check out some better options.

The Logitech K800 (2010) has done great in various roundups conducted by reliable and unbiased sources that do their own testing, like PCWorld, Windows Central, TechSpot, and Tom's Guide - it earned the "Best overall wireless desktop keyboard " title from PCWorld, "Best Wireless for Windows" from Windows Central, and "Best Wireless Keyboard" from TechSpot.

As for the HyperX Alloy Elite 2, it was really well-received by reviewers at CNET, a reliable source that's known for conducting its own, high-quality, in-depth testing. It performed great in its "Best gaming keyboard for 2021" roundup and was named its "Ranked 2 out of 8", which, on its own, makes it a product that warrants a closer look.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Wired Keyboards, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Logitech K800 (2010) got its highest, 7.7, rating from CNET, while the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 earned its best, 8.5, score from idg.com.au.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Wired Keyboards on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Wired Keyboards being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Logitech K800 (2010) and HyperX Alloy Elite 2 managed averages of 7.7 and 7.8 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Logitech K800 (2010) vs. HyperX Alloy Elite 2 comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
