Logitech K800 (2010) vs HyperX Alloy Elite (2017)

Analysis:

The Logitech K800 (2010) is an example of a great Wired Keyboard at its $55 budget.

In the case of the HyperX Alloy Elite (2017), however, we weren't able to find enough data to come to any reliable conclusions.

The Logitech K800 (2010) has done really well in a number of roundups conducted by sources that perform their own hands-on testing, such as PCWorld, Windows Central, TechSpot, and Tom's Guide - it was awarded the "Best overall wireless desktop keyboard " title by PCWorld, "Best Wireless for Windows" by Windows Central, and "Best Wireless Keyboard" by TechSpot. That's high praise from reliable sources.

As for the HyperX Alloy Elite (2017) analysis - it impressed reviewers at PC Gamer, a source that's known for its objective testing and well-thought-out methodology - it performed great in its "The best keyboard for Fortnite in 2020" roundup and earned the "A great keyboard, but not the newest" title.

We couldn't find any sources that tested both of these Wired Keyboards, so we only analyzed how they performed in reviews from different sites.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the Logitech K800 (2010) got its highest, 7.7, rating from CNET, while the HyperX Alloy Elite (2017) earned its best, 10, score from Expert Reviews.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Wired Keyboards on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Wired Keyboards being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the Logitech K800 (2010) and HyperX Alloy Elite (2017) managed averages of 7.7 and 8.3 points, respectively.

Due to the difference in their prices, however, it's important to keep in mind that a direct Logitech K800 (2010) vs. HyperX Alloy Elite (2017) comparison might not be entirely fair - some sources don't take value for money into account when assigning their scores and therefore have a tendency to rate more premium products better.
