HyperX Alloy FPS (2017) vs Logitech K800 (2010)

The HyperX Alloy FPS Pro (2017) and Logitech K800 (2010) make for very strong choices and are great Wired Keyboards for their respective $69 and $59 asking prices. Depending on how much you're willing to spend, either of these options will serve you well.

The HyperX Alloy FPS Pro (2017) was loved by reviewers at Tom's Hardware, a highly trusted source that performs reliable in-depth testing. It did great in its "Best Budget Mechanical Keyboards for 2021" roundup where it was named its "Best Budget TKL Mechanical Keyboard for Gaming", which, in itself, makes it a product worth considering.

Moving on to the Logitech K800 (2010): it has done really well in a number of roundups done by sources that perform objective and reliable testing, including PCWorld, Windows Central, TechSpot, and Tom's Guide - it won the "Best overall wireless desktop keyboard " title from PCWorld, "Best Wireless for Windows" from Windows Central, and "Best Wireless Keyboard" from TechSpot. That points towards it being a cut above most of its competitors.

We first examined which sources rated each of these best and found that the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro (2017) got its highest, 8, rating from Tom's Guide, while the Logitech K800 (2010) earned its best, 7.7, score from CNET.

Lastly, we averaged out all of the reviews scores that we could find on these two products and compared them to other Wired Keyboards on the market. We learned that both of them performed far better than most of their competitors - the overall review average earned by Wired Keyboards being 7.4 out of 10, whereas the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro (2017) and Logitech K800 (2010) managed averages of 8.0 and 7.7 points, respectively.
